Engineer servicing kitchen equipment

How we support kitchens in the health and social care sector

At Certa Service, we understand how vital hygiene is for kitchen areas in care homes, nursing homes and those providing food for those being looked after in their own homes. Ovens and chillers need to operate at precisely the correct temperature and equipment such as ice machines must be deep cleaned regularly to prevent contamination and to protect the health of vulnerable people.

We provide pre-planned maintenance packages (PPM) that are tailored to suit your needs and budget. Equipment such as boilers for tea and coffee making and liquidisers and blenders for pureed food are perhaps more vital here than in other sectors, especially when backup equipment is not always available due to budget restrictions. Our engineers will fully service all your equipment to ensure that it is working properly and to prevent unwanted breakdowns, which could have serious ramifications for those who rely on your food service. We will also offer support and advice as to how to keep equipment working at an optimal level, for example how to prevent limescale build-up in your appliances and suggestions for daily cleaning and maintenance checks that could prevent or highlight problems before they develop. Our engineers are also fully certified to carry out gas safety checks to ensure you are operating under health and safety guidelines.
